What if we use less time than scheduled or stop the session early?

If you choose to stop the session earlier than scheduled there would be no discount in the price. We will continue shooting for the booked amount of time unless you stop the session, this is at your own discretion and the full payment is still required.

Do you offer the originals or option to purchase all/more images?

No, i'm sorry we do not provide the original/raw unedited photos. But yes we do have the option to purchase more images if I capture more.

When is payment due?

Payment is due the day of the session either by cash or etransfer.

What if we are late?

We will do our best to try and capture what we can for the remaining time left. However, many times we have scheduled appointments either personal or business related soon after a session therefore its possible that we cannot extend your session time and you would lose the amount of time you were late by. The price is not discounted if the session is shorter due to you being late.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy? (Not valid for weddings)

Please let us know as soon as you can if you need to reschedule. We request at least 48 hour notice for rescheduling to avoid losing your deposit, less than 48 hours would forfeit the deposit. A cancellation will forfeit the deposit as its not refundable. A 'no-show' would forfeit the deposit and forfeit any future bookings with us unless the full balance is paid owing from the missed session. The deposit will need to be used within 12 months of the original booking.

How do we get our photos?

You will get your images via online gallery sent to your email to download. We do not provide a USB, CD, or prints. At this time we also do not offer prints, albums or any types of products.

What if my baby cries the entire session?

Although this is not likely, we generally end up getting at-least a few shots in some way either by parents holding the baby, or letting a child hold a cellphone or food. There is no refund or rebooking in this instance.

What if my child doesn't smile?

It's very common for a child, when in front of someone new or in the studio to not smile as they normally do. This is completely out of my control and as much as I will try to catch a smile it is not guaranteed. Rest assured we still capture beautiful images even with a serious or straight face! Even the best photographers in the world showcase images of children not smiling!

Are cellphones and cameras allowed to be used in the studio or during a session?

No, we do not allow clients to take images with their phone or camera in our studio. If you are caught taking photos we may end the session. If you have a cellphone photo request please ask before hand if it's ok. No DSLR cameras at outdoor sessions either.

How long do you keep the images for?

We will keep the images for up to 1 year, however we are not obligated to keep them once they are delivered to you successfully so it may be possible that prior to the year I may no longer have them. Please once you download your images to your computer also save them on dropbox, google drive/photos, a USB or CD so you have extra copies incase something happens to your computer. It doesn't hurt to save copies in multiple places!

STUDIO RULES/INFO

We have a small home studio meant mostly for babies and children. We have very limited backdrop options, mostly simple. Max of family of 6 can be accommodated. My studio may be closed during winter months due to freezing temperatures.

PLEASE, keep your children close to you or on the chairs provided, do not allow them to roam around and play with props not part of the session, many things are personal, fragile and expensive and are not meant to be played with or thrown around. Do not allow your children to rummage through our bags or props, touch our lighting stand and more. I kindly ask to please respect the area we are in, damage caused may be added to your session fee.

What if I don't want my images shared on social media?

That is ok! Please let us know if you prefer to keep your images private. We love to share images of our recent sessions as it helps people see the work we provide, the same way you had sample photos to see before booking me. However we completely understand the request to keep images private and we will be sure to do so if you let us know.
